Mrs. Mary Smotherman, 83, of Murray, passed away on Saturday May 13, 2023 at Anna Mae Owen Residential Hospice House.
Mrs. Smotherman was born on January 29, 1940 in Cadiz, KY to the late Sherman and Ruby Turner Hendon Adair.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Billy Smotherman; step father, Otis Adair; two sisters, Lilly Mae Morgan, Roberta Myers and two grandchildren, Thomas and Curtis Smotherman.
Those she lovingly leaves behind include two daughters, Tonya Smotherman (fiance, Jeff Mitchuson) of Hardin, Tammy Graves (Jeff) of Puryear; two sons, Terry Smotherman of Murray, Johnny Hendon (Debbie) of Indiana; a sister, Linda Dockins of Florida; three grandchildren, MacKensie Vacca (Blake), Tonya Hendon, J.J. Hendon as well as three great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.

A graveside service is set for 12 pm on Tuesday, May 16, 2023 at Barnett Cemetery. Brett Miles will officiate.
