The Calvert Drive-In is under new ownership with plans to open sometime this summer.
It was announced Wednesday in a post on Facebook that Seth and Tabitha Manea will continue the operation of the Drive-in that initially opened to the public 70 years ago in 1953.
Seth Manea said they plan on being open this summer, but a date has yet to be determined. He added they plan to make as little changes as possible and assured the public the burgers will remain the same.
Previous owner Steve Harrington and his family had operated the drive in theater for over 68 years.
Manea said he knows they have big shoes to fill and a heck of a legacy to continue.
