Myra Jean Welch, 78, of Benton, Kentucky passed away on Saturday, April 22, 2023 at her home.
Myra was born in Clarksville, Tennessee on May 10, 1944 to the late Robbley Evans and Novella Talley Evans. She was a homemaker and member of First Missionary Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Ronald Gene Welch, Sr.; two sons, Ronald Gene Welch, Jr. (Lynda Adyres) and James Eric Welch (Misty) all of Benton; three sisters, Patricia Livingston (Guy), Paula Hughes and Pauline Evans, all of Clarksville; one brother, John Evans (Geraldine) of Clarksville; one granddaughter, Katelyn Dziuk (Gary) and one great-granddaughter, Evjen Rae Dziuk.
She was preceded in death by her daughter-in-law, Rachel Futrell Welch; four sisters, Rachel Griffey Adkins, Teressa Evans Vaughn, Betty Coppage, Mary Jo Evans; three brothers, Bobby Evans, Dudley Evans, Steven Evans; and her parents.
A memorial service for Myra will be held at 4:30 PM on Wednesday, May 10, 2023 at Collier Funeral Home with Rev. K Alan Miller officiating.
