Track teams record 21 top 10’s at Owensboro Invitational

Rylee Thompson took first in two events at Saturday’s Owensboro Invitational. Thompson won both the long jump and triple jump.

Marshall County’s track teams competed in the Owensboro Invitational on Saturday. The girls team recorded six top 10’s and finished eighth in team results among a field of 15 teams. The boys team had 15 top 10 results and finished sixth in a field of 17 teams.

Rylee Thompson had two first place finishes in Owensboro. The senior won the long jump with 16-08 and the triple jump in 33-07.25. The boy’s 4 x 400 relay took also placed first in 3:36.63.

The Chuck Gullo Twilight Relays take place on Friday at MCHS. Events get underway at 5:30.
