This week’s MTG Insurance Athlete of the Week is Delaney Miller. A member of the Marshall County Swim Team, Delaney qualified for the KHSAA State Swimming & Diving Championships in the 50 yard freestyle and 100 yard freestyle events. Held at Lancaster Aquatic Center at the University of Kentucky, Delaney competed in Friday’s preliminaries and advanced to the finals in both events. In the finals, Delaney placed 16th in the 50 yard freestyle and 15th in the 100 yard freestyle. She also set a new school record in the 50 yard freestyle with a time of 25:18.
