On Feb 13, 2023 at approximately 10:30pm while conducting stationary radar on US641N a deputy observed a motorcycle, with two occupants, traveling 76 in a 55mph zone. The deputy attempted to stop the vehicle, however, it accelerated and refused to stop. The pursuit continued into Marshall County where Calloway was assisted by their Sheriff’s Department. The vehicles traveled down numerous back roads that ultimately lead to Aurora Hwy, crossing over the bridge into LBL. Multiple backroads were traveled until the motorcycle reached The Trace and attempted to cut between a Calloway County Deputy and a Marshall County vehicle and struck the later. This caused it to lose control and crash. Located on the motorcycle was possible methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.
The driver, Joshua Odom, was taken to the Murray Calloway County Hospital with unknown non life-threatening injuries. He was found to have a DUI suspended driver’s license and was cited on the below listed charges since he had to remain at the hospital. Odom stated that the passenger, Angela Deskins, told him to evade police because she could possibly have warrants. The passenger, Angela Deskins, was observed during the pursuit pointing in directions that the driver should travel. She was arrested on the below listed charges.
