
On February 12th, 2023, at approximately 12:15am, a Deputy with the
McCracken County Sheriff’s Office conducted a traffic stop on Sheehan
Bridge Rd. The vehicle was a 2001 Mitsubishi passenger car that was
driven by 44-year-old Christopher K. Reed of Paducah, KY and occupied
by 48-year-old Decovan D. Bell of Paducah, KY.
During the investigation, “K-9 Vegas” was deployed.
It was discovered that Reed and Bell were in possession of 17.4 grams
of Crystal Methamphetamine, Marijuana, Viagra Pills, Digital Weight
Scales, Plastic Baggies, $557.00 in cash, and other items related to
Drug Paraphernalia.
Through further investigation, it was discovered that Bell had two
outstanding warrants’ for Failing to Appear and for Probation
Violation (Felony Offense).
Both Reed and Bell were arrested and transported to the McCracken
County Regional Jail where they were lodged.

* Illegal Possession of a Legend Drug

* Trafficking in a Cont. Sub. 1st Degree 1st Offense > or = 2gs
