
Charles E. Osborne, 80, of Gilbertsville passed away February 7, 2023 at home with his family at his bedside and is now resting peacefully in the Lords arms.
Charles was born in Bowling Green, Kentucky and was the son of the late Beulah Mae Heffington. He was preceded in death by his daughter Robin Ree Osborne and mother.
He was a Bowling Green High School graduate and attended Western Kentucky University after high school. He was also, a retired business owner. Besides being a loving father, grandfather, brother and uncle, “Chic” was a skilled mechanic and could fix or build anything. He loved to wheel and deal, play cards and slots, travel, fish and watch the eagles at Kentucky Lake.
Survivors include his wife Margie, two sons; Rickey Joseph Osborne (Kani) and Michael Todd Osborne (Kelly) of Bowling Green; four grandchildren, Ryan Osborne of Melbourne, Florida, Rachel Osborne of Greenville, South Carolina, Jacob Osborne of Bowling Green and Loren Osborne Owensboro, Kentucky; two sisters Joyce Decker (William) and Donna Kirby (Donnie); several nieces and nephews and good friend BJ Moss of Lebanon, Tennessee.
The family has chosen cremation with a private service to be held at a later date. Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Filbeck-Cann Funeral Home of Milner & Orr, Benton, Kentucky.
