
Vanna D. Allen Tynes, 82, of Symsonia, passed peacefully at her home with family by her side.
Vanna was a retired rural mail carrier from the US Postal Service. She was also a member of Grace Baptist Church in Paducah. She loved collecting bottles and other knick-knacks, and enjoyed gardening and quilting. More than anything else she loved spending time with all of her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
Vanna is survived by her husband of 54 years, James W. (Jimmie) Tynes; three daughters, Deana McManus (David) of Symsonia, Jonna Newton (Michael Ogdon) of Symsonia, and Amy Day (Donald) of Hickory, Kentucky; five grandchildren, that she loved and was an awesome Granny to, Caleb McManus of Clarksville TN, Shelby Rudolph (Shane) of Symsonia, Caitlin Hamilton (Jason) of Symsonia, Mariah Lynn, and Zane Day both of Hickory, Kentucky; five great-grandchildren, Ansley Hamilton, Bryer Hargrove, Holden McManus, Adelaide Lynn and Stella Rudolph; her sister, Linda Burnett, of Paducah; and several nieces and nephews.
Vanna was preceded in death by her parents, Jewell and Frances Hack Allen; and two sisters, Connie Flood and Donna Reynolds.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on February 1, 2023 at Filbeck-Cann Funeral Home of Milner & Orr with Pastor C.W. Barnhill officiating. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM on February 1, 2023 at Filbeck-Cann Funeral Home of Milner & Orr.
