Finis Frederick Lofton, 88 of Calvert City, KY died on Wednesday, January 11, 2023, at Calvert City Convalescent Center in Calvert City, KY.
Born Thursday, October 4, 1934 in Marshall Co, KY, he was the son of the late Tolbert Lofton and the late Lexie (McFarland) Lofton.
He was a member of the Operating Engineers Local #181 in Paducah KY where he was a crane operator and backhoe operator for Bass Maintenance. He was also a member of Altona Missionary Baptist Church.
He is survived by his son, Kyle Lofton wife Joy of Calvert City, KY; sister, Melda Sue Hines of Calvert City, KY; and grandson, Dillion Lofton.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 63 years, Linda Faye (Bowerman) Lofton; son, Paul Wayne Lofton; daughter, Anna Marie Lofton; brother, Cecil Wayne Lofton, sister, Ruth Sheppard Henson.
A Funeral service will be at 11:00 AM on Monday, January 16, 2022 at Collier Funeral Home, located at 211 West 5th St. Benton, KY 42025 with the Rev. Robert Bratcher officiating.
Interment will follow in Leonard Cemetery, Calvert City, KY.
The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM on Monday, January 16, 2023, at Collier Funeral Home.
