Brenda Faye Williams, 72, of Benton, passed away on Saturday, January 7, 2023 at Mercy Health-Lourdes Hospital in Paducah, Kentucky.
Brenda was born in Cape Girardeau, Missouri on January 27, 1950 to the late Robert Williams and Lillie Faye Robinson Williams. She was a member of Calvert City church of Christ. Brenda and her husband, Jerry, enjoyed farming and managed a wholesale bait business for 20 years. She also worked as a teller at the Paducah Bank and Trust and was a cashier at Shop-O-Rama before becoming a caregiver for her parents until they passed in 2011. Brenda was an avid bowler who played in a bowling league and was proud to have once placed 1st in the Women’s division of trap shooting. She enjoyed traveling and was an excellent cook.
She is survived by her three grandchildren, Kirstin Butterbaugh (Adam), Amber Bell (Zach) and Mason Webb, all of Paducah; two brothers, Rusty Williams (Kimberly) of Foristell, MO and Rob Williams (Coralee) of Wildwood, MO; six great-grandchildren, twins, Adalynn and Marissa, Jadeyn, Kolson, Liam and Phoenix.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Williams; her daughter, Michele Webb; and her parents.
A funeral service will be at 2:00 PM on Sunday, January 15, 2023 at Collier Funeral Home with Lance Cordle officiating. Interment will follow at Marshall Co. Memory Gardens.
Visitation will begin at 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM service time on Sunday, January 15, 2023 at the funeral home.
