Christian Fellowship Lady Eagles suffered their first two losses of the season after their 5-0 start. Saturday, Livingston Central topped the Lady Eagles 42-39, they followed that up with a 71-31 win over St. Mary on Monday and Tuesday fell to Mayfield 54-38.
Saturday, the Lady Eagles will open play in the CCA Warrior Christmas Tournament in a 12:30 game against Ballard Memorial.
Gracie Howard led in scoring with 22 points in the loss to Livingston Central. Howard was 10-of-11 at the free throw line. Lillian Burnett finished with eight points and 11 rebounds. The Lady Eagles came just four points shy of picking up their first win over Livingston Central. Since 1999 the two teams have met 14 times and the Lady Cardinals have won all 14.
