William “Butch” Englehart, 78, of Metropolis passed away on Wednesday, December 7, 2022 at Select Medical Center in Nashville TN.
Butch was retired from Laidlaw where he worked as a forklift operator. He was a member of Lighthouse Assembly of God. He loved cars and motorcycles. He was a member of the Harley Owners Club and Metropolis Old Car Club.
Surviving is his wife of 52 years, Mona Englehart of Metropolis and one sister, Betty Jean Briskey of Missouri.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Opal Roberts.
Funeral services will be at 1:00pm on Tuesday, December 13, 2022 at 1:00pm with Rev. Brett Laszlo and Rev. Keith Stokes officiating. Burial will follow in the IOOF Cemetery.
Friends may visit the family from 12:00pm to service hour on Tuesday at the church.
