McCracken County Couple Charged With Drug Trafficking

The McCracken County Sheriff’s Office arrested an McCracken County Couple Monday night following a drug investigation into Fentanyl trafficking.

The investigation began after detectives received a tip alleging that illegal drug activity was occurring at 4901 Epperson Road in McCracken County. Detectives were familiar with the residence having raided the residence in past drug investigations.

On 11/28/2022 detectives obtained a search warrant for a residence. The search warrant was executed at just after 4pm. Two people, 29 year old Christopher Reed and 43 year old Tabitha Craig- Lipp were located inside. During a search of residence detectives located more than 50 grams of Crystal Methamphetamine, Fentanyl pills, Marijuana, a handgun, scales, smoking pipes and other items indicative of drug trafficking and use inside the couple’s bedroom.

The couple was arrested and lodged in the McCracken County Regional Jail.

Christopher Reed was also arrested and two outstanding McCracken County arrest warrants where he had failed to appear to court on other pending cases.

Arrested: Christopher D. Reed 29, of Epperson Rd (McCracken County)

Charges: Firearm enhanced trafficking in Fentanyl 2nd offense,  Firearm enhanced trafficking in Methamphetamine 2nd offense, Trafficking in Marijuana, trafficking in Opiates, possession of handgun by a convicted felon and possession of drug paraphernalia

Arrested: Tabitha D. Craig-Lipp 43, of Epperson Rd (McCracken County)

Charges: Complicity to trafficking in Fentanyl 1st offense, complicity to trafficking in Methamphetamine 1st offense,  Complicity to trafficking in Marijuana, Complicity to trafficking in Opiates, possession of handgun by a convicted felon and possession of drug paraphernalia
