Traffic Stop Leads to Drug Arrest

On November 28th, 2022, at approximately 11:32 PM, deputies with the McCracken County Sheriff’s Office conducted a traffic stop at the Five Star on Wayne Sullivan Drive. The vehicle was a 2012 Ford passenger car driven by 22-year-old Alec D. Shoulta of Symsonia, Ky.

During the investigation, it was discovered that Shoulta was in possession of a quantity of fentanyl and other items related to drug paraphernalia. Shoulta was transported to the McCracken County Regional Jail where he was lodged.

Arrested: Alec D. Shoulta, 22 of Symsonia, Ky

Charges:

One Headlight

No Registration Plates

Failure of Owner to Maintain Required Insurance

Possession of Controlled Substance 1st Degree 1st Offense (Drug Unspecified)

Drug Paraphernalia Buy/Possess
