Mr. James “Jamie” Taylor, age 65, of Mayfield passed away on Tuesday, November 22, 2022 at Jackson Purchase Medical Center in Mayfield, KY.
He was a member of High Point Baptist Church and a former employee of General Tire and Morgan – Haugh Clinic.
Mr. Taylor is survived by one son, Larry Worth of St. Louis, MO; one daughter, Elizabeth Taylor of Mississippi; two brothers, Larry Taylor and Joe Taylor both of Mayfield, KY; and six grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Janice Hunt Taylor and his parents, Wilson and Dorothy Tompkins Taylor.
Graveside services for Mr. James “Jamie” Taylor will be 2:00 p.m. on Friday, November 25, 2022 at Robbins Cemetery. Rev. Darrick Holloman will officiate. Interment will follow.
Pallbearers will be Larry Taylor, Joe Taylor, Gary Sanderson, Larry Wurth, Ean Duffy and Evan Duffy. Jonathan Burgess will serve as honorary pallbearer.
Visitation will be 12:00 – 1:30 p.m. on Friday at Byrn Funeral Home in Mayfield, KY.
