Melva June Koerner, 82, of Paducah, passed away Friday, November 11, 2022 at Baptist Health Deaconess Hospital in Madisonville.
June was a charge nurse in cardiac care at Lourdes for 34 years. She always had a caring heart and laid a strong foundation for a loving family. June was of the Methodist faith.
June is survived by two daughters, Deena Bass and Kennetha Davis; three grandchildren, Jimmy (Connie) Bass, Jason (Terra) Bass, and Jessica Moore; five great-grandchildren, Jonathan, Jocie, Josalyn, Kendrick, and Emree; one brother, Ricky (Debbie) Huddleston; and several nieces and nephews.
Preceding June in death is her first husband, James Kenneth Fortson; second husband, John Koerner; her parents, Jake and Sylvia Huddleston; and one brother, Rodney Huddleston.
Services for June will be held at a later date.
