Trey Wall signs with Murray State University Men’s Golf

Trey Wall signs with Murray State University Men’s Golf program on Wednesday, joined by (L-R) his mom Stephanie, dad David and sister Addi.

Trey Wall signed on Wednesday to continue his golf career at Murray State University. A member of the golf team for five years, Trey has qualified for the KHSAA Boys Golf State Championships all five years, both with the team and as an individual. He helped lead the Marshals to four Region 1 titles over that time.

Trey’s scoring average improved by two strokes each season with an average between 70 and 71 his senior season. His lowest round came this year in the Marshall County Invitational when he shot a 7-under par 65.

The reigning Region 1 individual champion, Trey was selected Region 1 Player of the Year, First Team All-State and finished third in All-State points standings this season.

Trey will be joining former Marshall County teammates Tyler Powell and Jay Nimmo on the Racer squad under the direction of Head Coach Jacob Miller.

Trey is also a member of the Marshals basketball team.

Joining Trey at his signing were members of his family, golf coaches Keith Bell, Travis Ross and David Morris, basketball coach Terry Birdsong, members of the golf and basketball teams and friends.
