Alice Jane Devers, 89, of Paducah, passed away on Sunday, October 2, 2022 at Ray & Kay Eckstein Hospice Care Center at Lourdes.
Mrs. Devers was in retail sales with J.C. Penney and Walmart. She was a member of Little Cypress Baptist Church and a former member of Bellview Baptist Church. Jane was a dedicated volunteer with the Paducah Rotary Club and the Antique Quilt show. She was also awarded the Paul Harris Fellow with the Paducah Rotary Club.
Jane is survived by her two children, Charles Johnson (Shirley) of Paducah and Janie Ottway (Vince) of Paducah; twelve grandchildren, Richard Ottway, Rudy Ottway, David Johnson, Douglas Johnson, Brandon Devers, Lindsey Devers, Marvin Devers III, Ashley Devers, Ben Rollins, Jenny Rollins, Samantha Farrell and Alex Farrell; fourteen great-grandchildren; two sisters, Jean Howard of Owensboro and Ann Heath of Paducah.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin G. Devers; four brothers, Silas Riley, John Riley, Richard Riley and Tom Riley. Her parents were Platte and Ruth Coram Riley.
A memorial graveside service will be held at 10:00 am on Wednesday, October 12, 2022 at Mt. Kenton Cemetery with Rev. Jeff Cox officiating.
There will be no visitation.
