Lady Marshals win Bowling Green Invitational

The Lady Marshals took the team title at the Women’s Bowling Green Invitational after finishing in a tie for first with Madison Central. Both teams shot 325 (+37) to finish nine strokes ahead of Sacred Heart Academy at Bowling Green Country Club. It was their ninth tournament win of the season.

Trinity Beth led the Lady Marshals with a 4-over par 76 to finish fifth. Following Beth, Katie Roberts shot 7-over 79 and finished seventh. Skylar Waller tied for 11th place with a 9-over 81, CeCelia Ray shot 89 to finish 30th and Elsie Riley shot 96 and placed 49th.

Lyon County’s Cathryn Brown won medalist honors with a 1-under 71, two strokes better than Isabella Wiley from Shelby County who shot a 1-over 73.

The team will head to Lexington this weekend to play in the KGCA All State Championship.
