Robert Earl Norment, age 93, of Wickliffe, passed away on Sunday, August 21, 2022 at Countryside Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing in Bardwell.
Robert was born on April 14, 1929 in Wickliffe to the late Thomas and Dathel Crews Norment. He was a member of Southside Baptist Church and a faithful follower of Christ since he was saved in December 15, 1957. Robert was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps. He worked as a machinist for Westvaco and was member of Local 680 Laborers Union.
Robert is survived by his son, Tim (Teresa) Norment of Bardwell; a sister, Connie (Jerry) Moore of Barlow; a brother, Tommy (Laquita) Norment of Kevil; and two grandchildren, Roger Norment and Phillip Dowdy and two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mae Annie Estes Norment; his son, Mike Norment; sister, Anna Marie Norment; and his parents.
