Mrs. Opal Mae Langston, age 82, of Mayfield passed away on Saturday, August 20, 2022 at Jackson Purchase Medical Center in Mayfield, KY.
She was of the Pentecostal faith, a former employee of K-Mart, former owner of Mama Mae’s and former co-owner of Langston Service Station.
Mrs. Langston is survived by three sons, Randall F. Langston of Mayfield, KY, Chris G. (Teresa) Langston of Pilot Oak, KY and Darren A. (Pam) Langston of Mayfield, KY; one daughter, Diana Gail Langston Cruse of Mayfield, KY; one brother, Richard A. (Christeen) Campbell of Mayfield, KY; ten grandchildren; and eighteen great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Frankie Langston; one great grandchild, Austin Cruse; one daughter-in-law, Cathy Vincent Langston; one son-in-law, David Cruse; and her parents, Stevens and Beulah Opal Miller Campbell.
Funeral services for Mrs. Opal Mae Langston will be 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, August 24, 2022 at Byrn Funeral Home in Mayfield, KY. Rev. Donald Dixon will officiate. Interment will follow at Unity Baptist Church Cemetery in Dublin, KY.
Pallbearers will be David Reed, Barry Chapman, Jesse Penney, Darrell Langston, Brian Langston and Tim Adams.
Visitation will be 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 23, 2022 at the funeral home.
