James “Wootie” Wooten, 32, of Ledbetter passed away peacefully with his loving family by his side.
He is survived by his mother, Carol Wooten of Ledbetter; grandmother, Mary Ann Wooten of Paducah; aunts, Rose Poyner of Paducah, Angie (Clint) Neal of Ledbetter, Ruth Clark of Paducah, Johnnie (David) Collier of Paducah; uncles, Michael (Michelle) Wooten of Paducah, Bobby Layne and Richard Wooten both of Paducah; several cousins and a vast community of gaming friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Patrick Wooten; grandparents, Authur and Geneva Childers; and grandfather, William Wooten.
Friends may visit with the family from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday on August 18, 2022 at Lindsey Funeral Home. Funeral services to follow at 1 p.m. with Father Brian Johnson officiating. Entombment to follow at Maplelawn Park Cemetery.
