
Marshall County’s golf teams swept the Paducah Tilghman Invitational at Paxton Park Golf Course on Saturday. The girls won with a team score of 291 and the boys with a score of 298.
It was the sixth win in eight tournaments for the Lady Marshals. Trinity Beth took first with a 6-under 65 on the par 71 course to win her seventh of eight tournaments so far this season. Katie Roberts took third with a score of 70, CeCelia Ray shot 76, Skylar Waller 80 and Elsie Riley 83. Playing as individuals for the Lady Marshals, Brooklyn Cunningham shot 93 and Kelli Roberts a 99.
The Marshals won by 10 strokes over Trigg County and McCracken County, both tying for second with 308. David Jack Morris and Ryan Stokes led with rounds of 74, Trey Wall and Logan Davis shot a pair of 75’s and Gunner Hoover shot 85. Playing as an individual, Paxton Carter finished with 81.
Aiden Hahn of St. Mary shot an even par 71 to take first place.
