Mrs. Jenelle Tackett Burgess, age 90, of Mayfield passed away on Sunday, August 7, 2022 at her residence.
She was a member of Macedonia Church of Christ and retired owner of K & T Lamp Company.
Mrs. Burgess is survived by her husband, John Henry Burgess; two sons, Danny (Julia) Burgess of Lone Oak, KY and James Hugh (Cindy) Burgess of Mayfield, KY; one daughter, Janie (David) Ellegood of Mayfield, KY; eight grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one daughter, Susan Elaine Illichmann; three brothers, Sam Tackett, James Tackett and Howard Tackett; three sisters, Estelle Goin, Clara Tackett and Pauline McGary; one great granddaughter, Tiffany Nicole Readenour; and her parents, Hugh and Avie Hayden Tackett.
Funeral services for Mrs. Jenelle Tackett Burgess will be 2:00 p.m. on Friday, August 12, 2022 at Byrn Funeral Home in Mayfield, KY. Jim Sloan will officiate. Interment will follow at Milburn Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Todd Burgess, Brady Ellegood, Travis Ellegood, Cody Burgess, Matt Burgess, Logan Ellegood and Austin Jones.
