Brian McDonald, the executive director of tourism in Grand Rivers joined us recently on WCBL’s Coffee Call program. A couple of big events are coming up on the weekend of August 12th, with a golf cart poker run on Friday the 12th, with money going to Special Olympics. And then on Saturday, August 13th it’s Marina Day at Green Turtle Bay Resort. The free event features live music, boat rides, activities for the kids and a big fireworks show that night.
