Ms. Nancy King Cavanaugh Alter, age 77, of Mayfield passed away on Tuesday, August 2, 2022 at her daughter’s residence.
She was a member of Community Fellowship Baptist Church and a retired employee of Walmart.
Ms. Alter is survived by her daughter, Paula Cavanaugh (Jeff) Kelley of Mayfield, KY and her granddaughter, Allison Nicole (Joey Parham) Kelley of Mayfield, KY.
She was preceded in death by one brother, Jerry King and her parents, Wright D. and Edna Carter King.
Funeral services for Ms. Nancy King Cavanaugh Alter will be 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 6, 2022 at Byrn Funeral Home in Mayfield, KY. Interment will follow at North Mt. Zion Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Joey Parham, Corey King, Chris King, Michael Kelley, Keith Hankins and Keith Thorpe.
Visitation will be 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. on Saturday at the funeral home.
