Born June 21st, 1936 to the late Alva and Ethel (Shoupe) Toby in Harlan, Kentucky, Mr. Toby was the President and Owner of Kentuckiana Yacht Sales in Gilbertsville, Kentucky. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Benton, Kentucky.
Mr. Toby his survived by two sons, Ken (Deanne) Toby of Gilbertsville, Kentucky and Troy Toby of Salem, Kentucky; two brothers, Dennis Toby of Jeffersonville, Indiana, and Phillip Toby of Bel Camp, Maryland; three grandchildren, Kate (Wesley) Morefield, Sam Toby, and Leigh Toby; and four great-grandchildren, Van Reed, Sophie Donohoo, McCall Anderson, and Makenna Morefield.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Toby was preceded in death by his wife of 64 years, Thelma (Atkins) Toby; four brothers, Thomas David Toby, Floyd Kenneth Toby, Raymond Toby, and Silas Rondal Toby; and a sister Lara “Jacquelyn” Toby.
Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 p.m. Saturday, July 30th, 2022 at Collier Funeral Home, 211 West Fifth Street, Benton, Kentucky. Rev. Don Wilson and Rev. Mark Doom will officiate. Entombment will be at a later date in Marshall County Memory Gardens Mausoleum.
Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. Saturday, July 30th, 2022 at the funeral home.
