Herman was the only son born to the late Herman Hayes, Sr. and Roise Lee (Mallory) Hayes on June 18, 1942 in Sedalia, KY.
He was preceded in death by his parents; four sisters, Annie Pearl Hayes, Doriscella Paschall, Annie Nell Emerson and Emma Elizabeth Hayes.
He leaves to cherish his memory his sister, Mary Nell Yarber of Louisville, KY; several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
Special thank you to all the caregivers and the extended family at Fern Terrace of Mayfield.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
