The Marshall Long Term Recovery group continues to assist citizens who were affected by last December’s tornado. David Green and Tammy McCullough with the recovery group joined us recently on WCBL’s Coffee Call program. Green says the group’s mission is to provide assistance to people for the long haul and a phone number will soon be set up to better assist people. Also, the Marshall County Disaster Recovery Celebration – Benefit Concert will be held Saturday, July 30 in the Moors area. Food booths and a silent auction begin at 2 and then the concert from 4 to 8 pm. The cost is a $10 wristband with 100% of the net proceeds will benefit tornado survivors.
