Marshall County Exceptional Center raises $36,000 at annual golf tournament

As Executive Director of the Marshall County Exceptional Center, I am honored to announce that we raised a total of $36,000 at our annual Mike Miller Memorial Golf Tournament held this past Saturday, June 25th at the Benton Country Club. This total exceeds all previous years, and we cannot express our heartfelt gratitude to all who made this possible.

The Marshall County Exceptional Center is a 501C-3 private non-profit organization that serves clients with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities. Our organization works directly with each client served to form a personalized plan to enable them to maximize their independence while keeping their dreams, goals, desires, and abilities in mind. We are the only agency of our kind in the Commonwealth of Kentucky that provides services without requiring private-pay or government waiver funding, rather, all clients served can attend free of charge. Over 75% of MCEC’s operational income comes from community support and fundraisers such as the Mike Miller Memorial Golf Tournament.

I would like to personally thank Doug and Rita Dotson for their tirelessly work to ensure the success of this tournament. Their dedication to our clients and organization is truly appreciated and unsurpassed. Likewise, I’d also like to thank all corporate sponsors, hole sponsors, Tyler D Par-3 sponsors, team players, MCEC Board Members, Benton Country Club, and all who helped to make this tournament such a phenomenal success. While I cannot thank each person individually, every person and sponsor who helped with our tournament is treasured.

Once again, thank you to all who made the 2022 Mike Miller Memorial Golf Tournament one for the books!
