Lee Jackson Moore, 96, of Paducah, formerly of Bardwell, passed away on Sunday, June 19, 2022 at Baptist Health Paducah.
Lee was born in Bardwell on July 28, 1925 to the late Alvin and Ira “Bonnie” Davis Moore. He was a member of Morris Valley Christian Church. Lee worked for many years as a Foreman for the Deena Products lamp manufacturing plant. He was an avid sports fan and loved to watch baseball, basketball and NASCAR. In his free time, Lee enjoyed tending to his vegetable garden and mowing friends and neighbors’ yards. He will be remembered by his family as being a dedicated and loving husband and father.
Lee is survived by his daughter, Shelia Moore of Paducah; two nieces, Brenda Todd Sancamper of Alton, Illinois and Donna Wilmouth (Larry) Stringfield of Union City, Tennessee; and his good friend, Rachel Jennings of Bardwell.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Glenda Long Moore; his sister, Joellen Todd; and his parents.
A graveside service will be held at 10:00 am on Friday, June 24, 2022 at Roselawn Cemetery in Bardwell with Steve Kelly officiating. Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Bardwell is in charge of arrangements.
There will be no public visitation.
