Summer is a busy time for the lakes area. Elena Blevins, executive director of Kentucky Lake Convention and Visitors Bureau joined us recently on WCBL’s Coffee Call program. Blevins says you can always find something to do in the lakes area and some big events will be coming up soon. Calvert City’s Ameribration Celebration on Monday, July 4th, Summer Concert Series on Saturday, July 9th on the Benton Court Square featuring the Tony Logue Band at 7, with a car show and food trucks beginning at 6, a Craft Beer Festival in early August and the Lonestar Rodeo will be coming back at the end of August.
