Bill was born February 5, 1949, in Marshall Co., KY to the late Hafford Carrol and the late Helen Louise (Mathis) Carrol. He worked at Ryan Milk Company for over 30 years. After retirement, Bill enjoyed working at Royal Oaks Chevrolet in Paducah, KY. He enjoyed hunting with his girls, gardening with his wife, Susan. He was a member of Flint Baptist Church, Murray, KY.
He is survived his wife of 24 years, Susan (Deal) Carrol; children, Kimberly Edwards of Dexter, KY, stepchildren, Joannah Peck Rogers of Puryear, TN and Joseph Peck of Murray, KY; grandchildren, Codi Woods Burnett, Colt Woods, Megan Sheppard, Billie Ballard, Devin Edwards, Brandon Turner, Annalise Rogers, Garrett Rogers, Elaina Rogers and Braden Peck; great-grandchildren, Gracie Ballard, Greylen Ballard, Bryar Burnett, Stryker Sheppard, Deliah Edwards, Alijah Wayne Edwards and Blake Lynne Burnett.
He was preceded in death by his parents, daughter, Patty Woods; brother, Herman Carrol; sister, Patty Carrol Thorn.
Funeral services will be conducted Monday, June 13, 2022, at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of the Blalock-Coleman Funeral Home, Murray, KY with Rev. Glen Cope and Rev. Scott Sheppard officiating. Burial will follow the service in the Elm Grove Cemetery, Murray, KY.
Friends may visit with the family after 11:00 a.m. on Monday, June 13, 2022, until the funeral hour at 1:00 p.m. at the Blalock-Coleman Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 713 S. 4th St., Murray, KY 42071.
