The Woodlands Nature Station will host special events and regular family friendly programming throughout the month of June for Land Between the Lakes National Recreation Area visitors.
Golden Pond, KY- June brings roaring dinosaurs, fluttering butterflies, and growing red wolf pups to the Woodlands Nature Station in Land Between the Lakes National Recreation Area.
The Nature Station’s red wolf pups are becoming more active and visible! While sightings of the pups are not guaranteed, they continue to explore their new home as they grow bigger and braver. “It’s so incredibly exciting when guests get a lucky glance at a red wolf pup. To see the guest’s face light up with excitement and wonder is such a rewarding experience,” said Naturalist Marissa Lindstrom.
Throughout the month, the Woodlands Nature Station will offer regular programming and family friendly special events featuring scavenger hunts, crafts, and more!
