Sue was born December 19, 1937, in Paducah, KY to the late Hubert Cortez Bell and the late Irene (Collier) Bell. She was a member of the Trigg County Women’s Club in Cadiz, KY. She was also a devoted member of In His Steps Ministry and Faith Baptist Church in Hazel, KY.
She is survived by her husband of 68 years, Jimmie D. Oliver of Murray, KY; children, John (Peggy Waddlington) Oliver of Cadiz, KY, David (Debbie) Oliver of Murray, KY, Donna Owen of Murray, KY; brother, Morris Ray Bell of Reidland, KY; grandchildren, Lauren Oliver, Matt Oliver, Ryan Oliver, Joshua Baker, Dalton Ladd, LeAnn Oliver-Vallery, Jennifer Oliver, Will Oliver and Jacob Oliver. Also surviving are 14 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; son James Dale Oliver; sister, Anna Mae (Bell) Owen; grandchildren, Maria Oliver and Lindsey Rose Oliver.
Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, June 4, 2022, at 1:00 p.m. at Faith Baptist Church, Hazel, KY. Bro. Chad Wells, Bro. David Cunningham and Bro. Tom Fortner will officiate. Burial will follow the service in the Hicks Cemetery, Murray, KY.
Friends may visit with the family after 11:00 a.m. until the funeral hour on Saturday, June 4, 2022, at Faith Baptist Church 2201 Brandon Road, Hazel, KY 42049.
