Wayne Edward Herron, 79, of Martin, Tennessee, formerly of Wickliffe, passed away on Saturday, May 28, 2022 at his residence.
Wayne was born in Wickliffe on August 26, 1942 to the late Frederick and Madge Frey Herron. He was of the Pentecostal faith. Wayne loved to spend his free time visiting flea markets where he would search for antiques to sell at the local shop he ran. He also loved to be outdoors working in his flower beds.
Wayne is survived by two grandchildren, Erica (Justin) Mathis and Beth Sager; three nieces, Evelyn (Tommy) Jennings, Vicky Jones and Joanna (Eugene) Collier; a nephew, Larry Teeters; four great-grandchildren and several great nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a son, Richard Sager; two sisters, Virginia Teeters and Mary Ruth Unsell; and his parents.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 pm on Sunday, June 5, 2022 at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Wickliffe with Bro. Brian Overstreet officiating. Burial will follow at Barlow Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 11:30 am until the service time of 1:30 pm at the funeral home.
