Lori Ann Derrick, 50, of Paducah, Kentucky, passed away on Sunday, May 8, 2022 at her residence.
Known to many of her family and friends as “Loreal” and “WoWo, she was an Office Manager for Brightmore Home Care of KY. Loreal attended Murray State University where she was a Alpha Yellow Rose. She was of the Christian faith and a member of The Refuge in Metropolis, Illinois. She was an avid and huge Kentucky Wildcat fan, loved word games and puzzle games, baking and decorating cakes and cookies. WoWo loved to spend her time with family and friends.
Loreal is survived by her husband of 21 years, Johann ‘Spartacus’ Edwin Derrick; her mother, Vicki Milton Smith of Radcliff, Kentucky; a brother, Mark Smith of Radcliff, Kentucky; several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a son, Mason Charles Derrick. Her father, Charles Smith.
A celebration of life will be held at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, May 18, 2022 at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah with Pastor Tony Morris officiating. Visitation will be held from 11:00 am until the service hour of 1:00 pm on Wednesday, May 18, 2022 at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah.
