
On May 6th 2022 at 12:47 AM, Deputy Tyler Crane conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle on the Purchase Parkway. Standardized field sobriety tests were conducted on the driver and Deputy Crane developed probable cause to place John Carlos Engard of Mayfield under arrest for Driving under the influence.
A search of the vehicle incident to arrest yielded a quantity of suspected methamphetamine and related paraphernalia. It was also determined that Engard and his passenger, Nikki D. Blake of Mayfield, had been released from jail with bond conditions prohibiting the two from having any contact with each other. Blake was placed under arrest for that offense. Charges on both were as follows.

Deputy Crane was assisted by Deputy Chandler Sirls and the Mayfield Police Department.

On Thursday, May 5, 2022 at approximately 3:30 AM, the Graves County Sheriff’s Office served an arrest warrant on KY 1710, just East of Mayfield. While serving the arrest warrant at the residence, deputies located methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia and marijuana. Aaliyah Pilcher, 25 of Mayfield and Troy Brown, 21 of Mayfield were both arrested on the following charges:
Aaliyah Pilcher, 25 of Mayfield: Possession of a Controlled Substance 1st Degree, 1st Offense Methamphetamine, Possession of Marijuana, Drug Paraphernalia Buy/Possess and Warrant for Wanton Endangerment 1st Degree, Two Counts.
Troy Brown, 21 of Mayfield:
Possession of a Controlled Substance 1st Degree, 1st Offense Methamphetamine
Drug Paraphernalia
Arrest Warrant for Wanton Endangerment 1st Degree, Two Counts.
The wanton endangerment charges for both individuals stemmed from an investigation by the Sheriff’s Office that began in March of 2022. That investigation revealed that children that were int eh care of Pilcher and Brown were found to have levels of methamphetamine and marijuana in their bodies after testing was conducted.
Deputies Tyler Crane, Chandler Sirls and Larry Jones conducted the investigation.
