Mrs. Margaret “Sis” Hartsfield, age 89, of Mayfield passed away on Wednesday, May 4, 2022 at Jackson Purchase Medical Center in Mayfield, KY.
She was a member of First United Methodist Church, a personal childcare provider and a retired employee of the Graves County Court Clerk’s Office.
Mrs. Hartsfield is survived by her daughter, Carrie Sue (Brian) Arp of Mayfield, KY; one brother, Jerry (Joyce) Kemple of Jefferson City, MO; one sister, Alysue Angus of Weirton, WV; three grandchildren, Megan (Kyle) Shirley, Jake (Lindee) Hartsfield and Jody (Kailen) Hartsfield; and five great grandchildren, Kinlee, Addison, Amelia, Jaydee and Avery.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe B. Hartsfield; one son, Tommy Hartsfield; one brother, Jim Kemple; and her parents, James and Margaret Hanlin Kemple.
Funeral services for Mrs. Margaret “Sis” Hartsfield will be 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 7, 2022 at Byrn Funeral Home in Mayfield, KY. Rev. Joey Reed and Pete Jackson will officiate.
Visitation will be 11:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. on Saturday at the funeral home.
