Mrs. Shirley Jones Davis, age 80, of Mayfield passed away on Saturday, April 23, 2022 at Clinton Place in Clinton, KY.
She was a homemaker.
Mrs. Davis is survived by one son, James (Natalie) Davis of Mayfield, KY; four daughters, Deborah (Stanley) Hobbs of Fancy Farm, KY, Sharon Jackson of Mayfield, KY, Carol Beard of Folsomdale, KY and Jami Morrison of Mayfield, KY; one brother, Ricky Jones of Mayfield, KY; one sister, Neela Wilford of Mayfield, KY; twelve grandchildren, James “JR” Toon, Michael Toon, Jessie Hack, David Beard, Greg Toon, Daniel Beard, Amanda Fakhoorian, Jacob Davis, Josh Morrison, James “Trey” Davis III, Logan Davis and Addison Davis; several great grandchildren; and several great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James Davis, Sr.; one grandson, Gary Ellegood; one brother, Bobby Jones; three sisters, Norma Crouch, Frances Hicks and Suzie Harrison; and her parents, Aubrey and Lou Annie Sanderson Jones.
Funeral services for Mrs. Shirley Jones Davis will be 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 27, 2022 at Byrn Funeral Home in Mayfield, KY. Bobby McClure will officiate. Interment will follow at Highland Park Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be James “JR” Toon, James Davis, Michael Toon, Greg Toon, David Beard, Daniel Beard, Jacob Davis, Josh Morrison, James “Trey” Davis III and Logan Davis.
Visitation will be 11:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home.
