Thelma Fay (Lax) King, 91, passed away Thursday, April 7, 2022 at her home.
Thelma was a loving and caring wife, mother, and grandma. In her free time, Thelma loved to embroider and tend to her flowers. She also loved to work puzzles and play cards. She was a member of Heartland Worship Center.
Thelma is survived by five sons, Robert E. King, Michael L. King, Roy W. King, David L. King, and Daniel D. King; three daughters, Marsha K. King, Margie F. McKinney, and Ruth A. Burns; grandchildren Wendy Orr, Leon Warner, and 8 additional grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; and her loving pets, Annie and Kitty.
Preceding Thelma in death is her husband of nearly 50 years, Robert Hall King; her parents, Roy and Nora Lax; two brothers; and one sister.
A graveside service for Thelma will be held Monday, April 11, 2022 at 2:00 pm at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens.
