Born November 1st, 1928 to the late Clarence Edward and Mable Etta (Kirk) King, Mr. King was a United States Army Veteran of World War II. He was a retired mill worker with Bethlehem Steel. Mr. King was an avid golfer and enjoyed playing the Miller Memorial Course of Murray State University.
He is survived by two sons, Douglas King of Valparaiso, Indiana and Dean King of Knoxville, Tennessee; three daughters, Linda Anderson of Valparaiso, Indiana, Nancy Burton of Murray, Kentucky, and Lola Lowe of North Judson, Indiana; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Mr. King was preceded in death by his wife of 62 years, Lola Fern (Gilbert) King; one son, Michael E. King; and one daughter, Deborah Susan Alsman.
No services are planned.
