Steve was born on November 30, 1957 in Calloway County, KY at the Murray Hospital. He is the son of Millard Earl Ealey and Donna Katherine Ealey of Benton. He is the husband of Cheryl R. Ealey.
Steve retired from Arkema in Calvert City, KY as a machinist. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Benton and the Local Machinist Union.
Surviving are his wife of 39 years, Cheryl Ealey of Marshall County, his parents, Earl and Donna Ealey of Benton and his brother, Jim Ealey, wife Dianna of Benton, KY.
Steve is also survived by his extended family, Kenneth Howell, wife Sandra of Benton, KY, Jackie Carroll, husband Ron of Lexington, KY, Tracy Johnson, husband Kurt of Benton, KY, Laurie Howell of Benton, KY, Jon Howell, wife Stacey of Benton, KY, several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
Steve loved his family very much. He requested to be cremated with no visitation or service.
In lieu of flowers, Steve requested that a donation to your favorite charity be made in Steve’s memory.
Steve and Cheryl would also ask that if you know them, that you lift a glass of your favorite beverage – water, wine, beer or bourbon – in memory of Steve on a day when Steve is in your thoughts.
