Mr. George Howard Watson, age 78, of Mayfield passed away on Sunday, March 13, 2022 at Baptist Health in Paducah, KY.
He was a member of Northside Church of Christ and a retired employee of General Tire after 33 years. Mr. Watson also was a former employee of Watson’s Lunch Stand, and a 1961 graduate of Mayfield High School.
Mr. Watson is survived by his wife of 57 years, Mary Ann Watson; two sons, Steven (Donna) Watson and Joseph Watson both of Mayfield, KY; one brother, Gene (Janice) Watson of Evansville, IN; seven grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and several great nieces and great nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Eugene and Lida Bell Curd Watson.
Memorial graveside services for Mr. George Howard Watson will be 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 16, 2022 at Highland Park Cemetery. Rev. Keith Allred will officiate. Interment will follow.
Honorary pallbearers will be Andrew Watson, Jon Watson, Brad Watson, Daniel Forrester, Justin King and Scott Curd.
There is no visitation scheduled. Friends are asked to meet at the cemetery.
