He was the son of the late Leonard B. and Ida McGregor Thompson. He was also preceded in death by Two Brothers: James Marshall Thompson and Jack Davis Thompson; Two Sisters: Rosebud Darnall and Patsy Darnell.
He is survived by his Wife: Linda K. Powell Thompson, Two Daughters: Darla Young (Russell) of Garner, NC., Denita Allen (Terry) of Benton, KY; One Son: Robert “Bo” Thompson (Triska) of Benton, KY, Four Grandchildren: Devin Griggs (Savannah), Travis Griggs, Ryder Thompson, and Rylee Thompson. Graveside Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 pm on Friday, February 25, 2022 at New Zion Cemetery in Benton, KY. Bro. Mike Littrell will officiate. Burial will follow in New Zion Cemetery.
