Mrs. Iva Adams Cox, age 84, of Cookeville, TN, formerly of Mayfield, passed away on Sunday, February 13, 2022 at her residence.
She was a member of High Point Baptist Church in Mayfield, a former member of First Baptist Church in Union City, TN and a homemaker.
Mrs. Cox is survived by two sons, Farrell W. (Karen) Cox of Cookeville, TN and Michael A. Cox of Victorville, CA; one daughter, Melinda Cox Houts of Cookeville, TN; one sister, Dorothy Adams of Mayfield, KY; four grandchildren, Courtney Rose, Krissi Hagan, Adam Cox and Andrew Houts; and four great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Farrell Davis Cox; three sisters, Lurley Youngblood, Katie Cash and Charlene Jackson; and her parents, John Adams and Golda Richmond Adams.
Funeral services for Mrs. Iva Adams Cox will be 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 19, 2022 at Byrn Funeral Home in Mayfield, KY. Rev. Ronnie Stinson, Jr. will officiate. Interment will follow at Little Obion Cemetery.
Visitation will be 12:00 – 1:00 p.m. on Saturday at the funeral home.
