Mrs. Lofton was born February 11th, 1941 to the late Paul Franklin and Leda Mae (Salyers) Bowerman. She retired as a bus driver for the Marshall County Schools after 40 years of service. Mrs. Lofton was a member of the Paducah Seventh-Day Adventist Church.
She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Finis Lofton; one son, Kyle (Joy) Lofton, Calvert City, Kentucky; one sister, Georgia Algood, Paducah, Kentucky; one brother, George Thomas Walters, Paducah, Kentucky; one grandson, Dillion Wayne Lofton; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Lofton was preceded in death by one son, Paul Wayne Lofton; an infant daughter, Anna Marie Lofton; one grandson, Bryan Joseph Waddell; and one sister, Nancy Sue Bryan.
Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, February 20th, 2022, 2:00 p.m. at Collier Funeral Home, 211 West Fifth Street, Benton, Kentucky. Mike Burks will officiate with interment to follow in Leonard Cemetery, Possum Trot, Kentucky.
Visitation will be from 12 noon until 2:00 p.m. Sunday, February 20th, 2022 at the funeral home.
