The McCracken County Sheriff’s Office arrested a Kevil man on drug offenses following a traffic stop in McCracken County on Tuesday afternoon

On 02/08/2022 just after 2pm detectives observed a drug transaction take place on the parking lot of a business in the Lone Oak area of McCracken County.

Detectives stopped the vehicle involved in the drug transaction on Lone Oak Road. The driver of the vehicle was identified as 38 year old Aaron Jenkins of Kevil. During the stop Jenkins admitted that he had just sold a quantity of Marijuana. Detectives conducted a search of the vehicle and located jars containing Marijuana, plastic baggies, scales and a small quantity of Methamphetamine. Jenkins was arrested.

Jenkins was on probation at the time of his arrest for trafficking and importing Heroin. Jenkins was lodged in the McCracken County Regional Jail.

Arrested: Aaron Jenkins 38 of Kevil, KY

Charges: Trafficking in Marijuana 2nd or subsequent offense, possession of Methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia and failure to or improper signal.
