Robert Lee Oswalt, Sr., age 88, of Benton, KY, died Monday, February 7, 2022, at his residence in Benton, KY. He was a member of Pleasant Hope Missionary Baptist Church and a member of Arcadia Masonic Lodge in Lansing, IL.. He was retired Iron work and member of Sheet Metal Union Local #20 in Evansville, IN.

He is survived by One Son: Robert and wife Elizabeth Oswalt, Jr. of Athens, TN, A Daughter-In-Law: Bridgitt Oswalt of Benton, KY; Six Grandchildren: Jackie and husband Jordan Turner, Zachery Oswalt, Lauren and husband David Carr, Sara and husband Joey Marshall, Hannah Oswalt and Adam Oswalt and Six Great Grandchildren: Avery Turner, Emma Joy Turner, Rylee Kate Marshall, Evie Carr, Sierra Carr, and Jacob Oswalt.

Mr. Oswalt was preceded in death by his Wife: Shirley Olmstead Oswalt, his Parents: William Carl and Willie Lee Bryant Oswalt, Two Sons: Michael Olmstead Oswalt and Mitchell Wade Oswalt; a Grandson: Justin Oswalt; Two Sisters: Geneva Little and Evelyn Love and a Brother: James Clifford Oswalt.

Funeral service will be at Collier Funeral Chapel at 1:00 PM, Saturday, February 12, 2022, Rev. John Bedwell officiating. Interment will be at Maple Springs Cemetery, Benton, KY
Friends may visit with the family Saturday between the hours of 11:00am and 1:00 pm at Collier Funeral Home in Benton.
